Earl Smith (May 29, 1955 – July 7, 2000) was a Robloxian singer-songwriter and actor. He was one of the most recognizable singers and one of the most influential singers of the 1980s and 1990s. He had also contributed to the popular Old Roblox Album and made the song “Better Off Alone” (1989) and contributed with numerous of singers for performing it. Earl had won many awards, especially from the famous Bloxy Awards. He had also acted in major films and series. He had one of the best voices in Robloxia making more than a hundred hits. Unfortunately, his life eventually came to an end after an unexpected car crash in 2000 which was indirectly a murder as someone shot the car. He still remained one of the best and significant singers of Robloxia.
Biography
Early Life
Earl was born on May 29, 1955 in Rox Town, Wisconsin. Everyday, he walked a whole kilometer to reach his school. He studied in Roxford School till college. Later in 1966, he fortunately got a bicycle and would cycle there everyday which was a big advantage for him. Earl had grown up in a family deeply interested in music. Earl was just like his family. However, Earl’s interest grew even more everyday. He also developed the interest of playing different instruments. Earl had ended up winning two music competitions. He started to join groups and sing in any performances at the age of thirteen to gain a small reputation. He had a natural talent.
Career
Earl had started his fulfilling career in 1974, when he was 19, after dropping out of college. He felt that college was not for him. He wanted to sing and play instruments. He wanted to be a famous celebrity like singers such as Luther Carson who was his inspiration. Earl had started off by releasing the song “Earl is Here”, a mix of disco and pop. This song had immediately got popular and shot up the charts due to its catchy lyrics and tunes. Earl was also deeply engrossed into novelty songs and in fact released some. He did mainly make disco and pop songs. Hence, he often mixed certain genres and made unique and emotive lyrics. His peak was during the 1980s, reaching the top 200 singers and made numerous of hits. In 1989, he had released the song “Better off Alone”. The song had not too fast tunes however catchy ones and satisfying the listener’s mind by relaxing piano tunes. The song had gotten very popular. This song had helped him gain a lot of reputation. The song had been added to “The Robloxia Album” which was renamed to “The Old Roblox Album” in 2010. This album consisted of a bunch of singers contributing. In the song, a bunch of performers participated, such as Thomas Bloxy, Gerrard Bloxy, Jack Watson and etc making it a major famous project in the music industry. Earl ended up being one of the most significant singers in Robloxia.
Death
In 2000, a very tragic and unfortunate event had happened. Earl had died by a sudden car crash. However, the cause was unknown. Earl remained one of the best singers in Robloxia and his songs are still very recognizable. Further in the death investigation, it was found that someone had shot the car and it caused the car to crash. This fact was found 24 years later in 2024 after a man found some traces of gunshots and also a video was uploaded on BloxTube by an unknown BloxTuber during the late 2023.
