The Great Robloxian Cataclysm is a disaster that occurred from March 1st to March 4th, 2012 that happened following a Robloxian research rocket observing geomagnetic activity collided with a geostorm, its debris falling into and geomagnetism entering our atmosphere and causing a total chain reaction of weather events across the country, specifically Roblox City and Bloxy City and any neighboring city. Today, this is commonly considered as the worst disaster in Robloxian history.
Prelude
In the late 80's to mid 90's, the federal Robloxian government heavily began talks of modernizing and repurposing its already aging space agency. After years of back and forth discussions within Congress, the Second Flight Act was finally enacted in 1996 which oversaw the production of several spacecraft designed to be launched and record geomagnetic activity in outer space and be reported back to Robloxia in an order to spring their agency back to life, as progress had become considerably stagnant in the last few decades. By 2003, mass production of rockets began with most frames estimated to be complete by 2006 and the remainder of the decade be used for testing (WIP)
