Overview
The Robloxian Space Administration (RSA) is an independent agency of the Robloxian federal government responsible for the civil space program, aeronautics research, and space research. Established in 1942, it succeeded the Second Astroverin to give the Robloxian space development effort a distinctly civilian orientation. It has since led most Robloxian space exploration, including Project HORNET, Project Altair, the Manela Moon landing missions, the Skylark and North Star space stations, Project Tholia, Project Vulcan. It currently supports the Greater Robloxian Space Station Belt (GRSSB), Copernicus SOO, Crossroad Moon Colony, and oversees the development of the Hyperion Spacecraft and the Methuselam Rocket for the crewed Jupiter-Saturn Hyperion program and Gas Giant Sampling.

WASP and HORNET missions
In 1942, the Robloxian government bought the second Astroverin and renamed it to the Robloxian Space Agency and the WASP series of rockets were introduced, WASP-1 sent the first probe past the Karman Line and entered space. WASP-3 was the first probe to safely land back on earth in March 19, 1942. The RSA was using WASP rockets to send bio samples, science instruments, and even movie cameras to space. In May 4, 1944, using the second tier of WASP rockets, the WASP II, Robloxia was able to put the first probe into orbit, the Ivory Spear. Several more reconnaissance probes were launched as Robloxia fought in WW2 .They also launched a probe that reached an altitude of 12,000 miles in 1945. Throughout 1942-1946, Robloxia launched 64 WASP and WASP-II rockets. In 1948, the RSA introduced the successor to the WASP series, the HORNET series. HORNET-1 successfully launched a large satellite in orbit on July 29, 1948. In June 9, 1949, HORNET-3 put the first Robloxian into orbit, Harvey Wayne, successfully completing 2 orbits. During his 3 hour flight, he announced that the earth was beautiful and wanted to preserve it.

Orbital Missions, Lunar Landing, and interplanetary missions
4 other robloxians went to orbit on the HORNET throughout 1949-1952. The longest mission was on the HORNET-7, where Theodore Ramiel stayed in orbit for 19 hours. On May 3, 1952, a faulty sparkplug lights the HORNET-8 on fire, blowing up and killing Amber Davis. This led to the HORNET Program shutting down and being put under investigation. In 1953, the RSA develops the Loki Human-Rated Launch Vehicle and the Altair Program which puts the first two robloxians, Keith Merah and Aratake Gouki, into orbit on April 3, 1953 aboard Altair-2. On November 8, 1953, using the new heavy-lifting rocket, the Legionnaire-IIb, The RSA launched Skylark, the first space station, to orbit. Altair missions 4-12 (1953-1957) would all have a docking port to dock with Skylark for extended stays, and Legionnaire-I rockets would resupply the station.
August 3, 1953, The Lunarin-1 probe would launch with the intention of reaching lunar orbit, but due to a thruster misfire, it would crash into the moon. Lunarin-2 would reach a succesful lunar orbit on August 26. The RSA would launch 3 other Lunarin orbiters later on. In December 2, 1953, the Mogh I mission landed the first man-made probe safely on the lunar surface. With the space program kicking into high gear, RSA's budget increases by 25 billion robux. On July 4, 1954, Katrina-1 is sent on a Venus Flyby, followed by Katrina-2 for a Mars Flyby on December 7, 1954. Katrina-1 arrives at Venus in November and takes pictures and measurements. Katrina-2 loses signal during transit due to a circuit shortage.
1957 was a big year. First, On January 9, Hikaru 3 made a mercury fly-by, then the RSA Orbital communications network was established. After a bunch of failed prototypes, the new spaceplane, the XO-12b Aurora, was born. it contained a 4-person crew and a lifespan of 10 days with 4 people. On November 12, 1957, a Legionnaire V rocket carrying Bob Kerben, Leonardo Vostoch, and Kalif Martin launched from Cape Phalanx. On November 15, 1957, The Manela 1 mission delivered the first Robloxian, Bob Kerben, to the lunar surface where he stayed for up to 90 minutes on the lunar surface.
Manela 2 is launched for a targeted lunar landing in June 4, 1958. Skylark gets a power generation and engine expansion on July 29. The RSA tests the NR-2 rocket, the first nuclear-powered launch vehicle which was also Robloxia's first Superheavy launch vehicle, able to carry 150 tons to LEO and 91 tons to Lunar Orbit. Using the NR-2, the RSA was able to launch LunaLab in Lunar Orbit. LunaLab was much larger and more advanced than Skylark. It was used as a gateway between Earth and The Moon. On May 12, Manela 3 featured an upgraded 2 person lander and also went to LunaLab. In August 23, 1959, the first probe lands on mars using parachutes. On October 2, Jazdia 1, the first lunar outpost, landed along with Manela 4 just a week later. Manela 4 also introduced new rovers. Between November 21-December 18, The first 3 space telescopes, Telamon Space Telescope (TST), Robloxia (RST), and Reese (ReST), are also launched. In January 12, 1960, the Tracking and Data Relay System (TDRS) is launched into geostationary orbit. The final Manela mission, Manela 5, is launched in March 5th and explores a crater. The North Star Station is placed into orbit to conduct military reconnaissance across multiple enemies, such as the Soviet Union, China, and Vaktovian Empire.
2023 Control Tower Collapse
On September 11, 2023, the Robloxian Space Administration (RSA) experienced one of the deadliest accidents in its modern history.
During a final countdown a fuel system malfunction caused an explosion beneath the launch pad igniting a fire that rapidly spread to the mission control tower. All personnel inside the tower were ordered to evacuate immediately.
One launch operations specialist, Legomyego12321, chose to remain at his station to ensure the rocket completed its launch sequence safely and would not endanger nearby personnel or infrastructure. The rocket successfully lifted off but moments later the fire caused the control tower to collapse.
Legomyego12321 and another RSA employee were killed in the collapse making the disaster one of the most significant launch-related accidents in RSA history.
An official investigation concluded that the accident was caused by the rupture of a high-pressure fuel line during the final stages of fueling. Following the incident the RSA introduced upgraded fire suppression systems and expanded remote launch capabilities across all major launch complexes.
A memorial was later erected at Cape Phalanx Space Center in honor of the two victims recognizing Legomyego12321 for his dedication and sacrifice during the mission.
