The Pulu-class heavy “battlecruisers”(callsign is CCA by the UXXR since it's a heavy battlecruiser) are a class of warships in the Xenonist Union. They are known as the last active battlecruisers to retain large battleship-caliber cannons, specifically 15-inch guns. They are also equipped with quad autocannons, missiles, CIWS, and advanced combat systems. The Xenonists configured the cannons in "AB-XYZ" meaning there are two turrets forward, and three aft
They are famously known for their service in major conflicts, including the Liberation of Slendernawa (1941–1943), the Southern Wars (1963–1983).

- and 280 standard multipurpose naval missiles, which can serve for missile interception, bombardment, anti-ship, and anti-air

History
How the Pulu class was created
After the Second UXXR's Establishment in 1941, the Xenonist navy was crippled but still had a good functioning industry intact along with alot of materials, and they were only left with a few battlecruisers and battleships, the most successive ship before XNS Pulu was the Shengxiang class Heavy battlecruiser it has a speed of barely 33 studs/s and has an "AB-YZ" configuration of turrets, the A-Z turrets carried quad 15-inch cannons while the "B-Y" turrets carried triple 15-inch cannons, which made it a good battlecruiser.
The Xenonists found it a good idea to extend this battlecruiser with an AB-XYZ configuration which has already proven successful to their predecessors like the light battlecruiser and heavy cruisers. Designers debated to keep the Y turret the back super firing turret, but others said it made the ship too long, so they decided to make the X turret the "main" super firing turret while the Y turret was the middle turret and the Z turret was the lower turret. Designers also suggested adding 32 torpedo launchers, 16 on the left and right side, and also planned using stronger battlecruiser engines to give it a faster speed.

Later in 2007, the Xenonist Union announced the revival of the 7 Pulu-class Battlecruisers, while retaining their signature 15-inch guns, and their frontal 156mm triple-cannon, the rest were replaced by advanced radar and combat systems, missiles, quad autocannons.
This would later make it's performance beyond the expectations of the overhaul, during the defense of the Union during Slendernawa’s invasion under Operation Kaminari Kōgeki, and the bombardment of military bases during the war involving the coup d’état in Penguipan. during this the 11-inch guns neutralized the sirens of the military bases, before launching most of it's missiles, though one flaw remains and it's that it can get ammo racked, but the CIWS of the UXXR are modified to be more accurate, and their ammunition is similar to that of a flak shell but timed, incase it misses it's target, it explodes
These ships never sunk, two of them almost did, in 1981, a week after the Antiland bombing of Fireankoria, XNS Alosalo was sent to Etkai for naval bombardment, while the ship was cruising, two Confederate fighters armed with bombs kamikazed on the A and X turret of the battlecruiser, which detonated and exploded both turrets, which heavily damaged the ship. Thankfully the compartments were made to be thick and did not reach the B, Y, and Z compartments before detonating the entire ship, this gave Xenonist crew enough time to extinguish the fire before it could get worse, XNS Alosalo retreated at the cost loosing crew and repairing expensive damage.
Almost the same thing happened to the XNS Thunderbird-II when it supported Xenonist troops in the Penguipan-Xenonist War, in the ruins of a Penguipan military base, a Penguipanse soldier used all his shear strength to fire a single AP round from an artillery before dying, it somehow penetrated deep into the armor, it almost reached the ammo compartment before it stopped, saving the crew inside.
After the 3rd Rogaulian Empire's attack on mini rogaulia and the War of the 8th coalition the Rogaulian battlecruiser that was being built by the UXXR was later repurposed as the 9th Pulu-class battlecruiser for the Xenonist Union, named XNS Akinclaire
Later in 2026, the Frontal 156mm secondary cannon was finally replaced with one quad autocannon, and ten quad harpoon missile launchers
Subclasses
Aside from the standard Pulu-class, The Xenonist Naval Ship Pulu also has a subclass of ships for different purposes
- Anthiest-Class coastal bombardment ship
The Anthiest-Class Battleship's purpose was for coastal bombardment, with it's port and starboard torpedoes removed, the 128mm cannon was replaced with a 203mm cannon. the main cannons are now 16.5-inch quad cannons, it uses the "ABC-Z" turret configuration, meaning 3 turrets in the front, and one back
- Herank Thomas Battleship
The Herank Thomas-Subclass is the successor to the Pulu-class, now classified as a battleship rather than a battlecruiser by Xenonist standards (speed must be at least 33 studs/s; Herank Thomas was 30 studs/s). Two of its triple 15-inch cannons were replaced with twin 17-inch cannons, while the quad 15-inch cannons were replaced with triple 17-inch cannons. The middle section, where the 32 torpedoes and a triple 128mm cannon were originally located, was redesigned into a short runway capable of operating two amphibious multirole fighters. Two multiple rocket launchers were also added, one at the stern and the bow
