David Smith Robinson (born August 27, 1979) is a Robloxian actor and writer. He is known for his quite popular books such as, “Chaos” (2005) and “A small Dinosaur” (2016) which helped him gain a wide recognition. Apart from writing, he has a well known acting career such as voice acting for The Robloxians, a popular TV Show, and acting for a few major films like “Escaping For Treasure” (2002), “Disasterous Rain” (2010), "One Small Land" (2021) and “1941” (2011).
Biography
Early Life
David Robinson was born on August 27, 1979, in Greenville, Wisconsin and got raised there to the parents, Donald Robinson and Sarah Robinson. From an early age, Robinson was highly interested in telling stories and acting in dramas. These passions grew when he was in his teenage years and he got into drama classes. Till college, David had attended a nearby school, Blockersville School. He had two sisters, Elise and Lina, and one brother, John.
Writing Career
Robinson’s writing career took off after publishing his first popular novel, "Chaos", in 2005. The book had the genres of thriller and horror. The book managed to be widely sold and this encouraged David to write more. In 2016, Robinson released his second most successful novel, "A Small Dinosaur", with a very unique plot, intriguing the readers. After this, he had published "Sci Fi World", a future styled novel which gained him quite a reputation and after several books, he had won an award from the Bloxy Awards. There were many more books that he sold, making him a popular writer among Robloxia. Robinson's books were very interesting and were directed to both younger and older readers making him a prominent writer.
Acting Career
Besides writing, Robinson had been very successful in acting. He was known to voice one of the characters in the hit TV Series, The Robloxians, making him a prominent and well known figure among the entertainment industry. Additionally, he had also appeared in several famous films. His role in "Escaping For Treasure" (2002), an adventurous story of hidden treasure, earned him a higher reputation. He continued his acting career with roles in "Disastrous Rain" (2010), a survival film, and "1941" (2011), a historical action film set during the Roblox war II. During the late 2010s, he had focused on voice acting in several films such as "The Galaxy Quest" (2018) and "What an Adventure!" (2019), which were also prominent films in the entertainment industry. In 2021, David had acted in "One Small Land" where he was a supporting character, and the film had starred numerous of famous actors.
