Dahanani Hansja Airport is one of two airports that serves Dahanani, Bloxjiado. The other airport is the newer
Dahanani International Airport. The airport is one of the oldest in the country, and was an airbase for a few decades.
The Runway (18/36; pavement is Asphalt) is 7,000 feet long, capable of handling aircraft until the Roeing 777-300ER.
History
Early Time
The airport was built sometime in 1985 as Capital SE Airport and served only two airlines, BOAC and JiadoAir.
Closure
In 1995, the airport closed after the newer Dahanani International Airport was built. It then became an airbase as BJF Dahanani. The new Dahanani Airport recieved more traffic.
Reopening
The airport was reopened in 2025 after Dahanani International Airport was reaching its capacity. More airlines came to Hansja Airport, and the airport has relieved DJX’s traffic by 23%.
