Congbloxian Fever is a life-threatening viral disease, first reported in Congblox in 1979. There is no known cure or vaccine for the disease and the lethality rate is 98%. Pathogen testing can only take place in a special BSL 4 class laboratory. Due to the lack of a cure or vaccine, as well as painful symptoms that can lead to death, it is probably the worst disease in Roblox.

Course of illness

After infection, the first symptoms usually appear on the eighth day after the virus enters the bloodstream. Initially, the person suffering from the disease only experiences severe fever and enlargement of the lymph nodes in the limbs. By day 10, the infected person begins to vomit blood and the lymph nodes continue to enlarge. There is also ulcerative dermatitis, which turns yellow. By day 11, the person will bleed severely but continually, and the temperature of the body will continue to rise. On day 12, their skin turns blue, and the infected person bleeds out constantly. Organs begin to die. In some cases, gangrene appears in the limbs. A person suffering from Congbloxian Fever usually dies between the 14th and 16th day on the onset of initial infection.

Range of occurrence

The disease is an epidemic native to the Central Bloxveld region. Vectors are bats or other animals that have direct contact with them.

Vaccine

Currently, no vaccine has been created for the disease. According to university statistics from Robloxia, a vaccine will not be available before 2060. There is also no cure.

History

First epidemic (1979)

The disease was first diagnosed in a Ro-French man who worked on a sugar cane farm. He probably had contact with bat guano. He was taken to hospital, where he infected the staff a few hours before his death. 26 people died then.

Second epidemic (1984)

In 1984, the disease was confirmed in a boy who may have come into contact with bat guano while staying in a cave. He died after 14 days and infected two other people who also died. Doctors isolated serum from his blood and tested it on animals, discovering that the pathogen was zoonotic and could kill almost any animal.

Third epidemic (1986)

In 1986, an epidemic broke out among local tribes on the border of Congblox and the New Gaborick. Up to 1,100 people died and, according to URC scientists, the mortality rate was up to 95%, with 12 of the 16 infected volunteers also dying.

Fourth epidemic (1992)

In 1992, a smaller epidemic broke out among the tribes in Tanzaniablox, 170 people died, and it is also known that in Rwanblox 38 people from the local tribe probably died of this disease.

Fifth epidemic (1999)

In 1999, several people were infected in several villages in Angolblox, and 27 people died.

Sixth epidemic (2000)

In 2000, a man was admitted to hospital in Conglox with symptoms of hemorrhagic fever. He died after 16 days and infected the doctor, who also died after the same time.

Seventh epidemic (2003)

In 2003, 7 cases of the disease were recorded in Angolblox, of which 6 people died.

Eighth epidemic (2004)

In 2004, two smaller outbreaks broke out in Bloxveld. The first one hit Zambiiblox, killing 20 people, while the second one in Guiblox took the lives of 63 people.

Ninth epidemic (2013)

The ninth epidemic broke out in the Democratic Republic of Congblox among local tribes. According to URC statistics, it led to the death of up to 3,000 people, and the mortality rate was 92%. Two special scientists and 78 volunteers also died.

Tenth epidemic (2023)

In 2023, two smaller epidemics of the disease broke out. The first one on the border of Congblox and the New Gaborick led to the death of 43 people, while the second one in Tanzaniablox killed 80 people. In the same year in Tovokia, a researcher in a special laboratory BSL 4 pricked himself with a needle containing the pathogen causing the disease and died after 15 days.

Unidentified epidemics

There may have been a dozen or so Congbloxian Fever outbreaks that were not properly classified. For the first time, such a situation may have occurred in 1962, when laboratory monkeys sent from Bloxuganda to Eurobloxia infected the staff in several laboratories with hemorrhagic fever. This situation probably repeated three more times in 1968, 1975 and 1994. There are also speculations that Congbloxian Fever is responsible for an unidentified epidemic that occurred in 1971 in Camerooni and killed 238 people.

Robloxia epidemic

In 2023, there were reports that an epidemic occurred in the Brookhaven area. In fact, they turned out to be fake news spread by people claiming that there was a zombie epidemic in Luobu. URC has not confirmed a single case of illness in Kionne Republic or in Robloxia as a whole.
