Line 4 denotes a rapid transit line in Centria, Halson, Bloxanada. It is the shortest line in the entire CenterConnect Rail, but it it is also the newest. It runs from Oswald Park in the west end of Downtown, to Esplanade station on the riverbank. It is 4.9 miles long.
History
Line 4 was not included on the original plan for Centerconnect system, but it was then planned in 1987, and a route was drawn out to connect the Oswald Park area of downtown to connect it to Mitrio Plaza. Ground broke in 1989 and completed in 1992. Originally it was a branch of the Line 1 for trains from CityGate south that could continue off to Oswald Park, but in 2003 it became its own separate line and ran from Oswald Park to Embassy Turnpike (interlining with Line 1).
