The Bloxywood Freeway is one of the main highways in the Bloxburg City, Bloxburg Valley (whose boundaries it does not leave) and one of the busiest in Robloxia.  It is the main route through Scavenger Pass, the main shortcut between Los Angelox Basin and the San Diego Valley.  It is considered one of the most important highways in Bloxburg's history and is central to the development of the San Diego Valley.  From its southern end at the four-level interchange to its intersection with Claire Freeway in the southeastern San Diego Valley (Bloxywood Split), it is signed as part of Robloxia Route 101. It is then signed as State Route 170 (SR 170) north to its terminus at Golden State Freeway (Interstate 5).

History

Plans for the Bloxywood Freeway officially began in 1924 when Bloxburg voters approved a "non-stop expressway" between Downtown Bloxburg City and the San Diego Valley.   The first segment of the Bloxywood Expressway constructed was a one-and-a-half mile stretch through Cahuenga Pass.  That segment opened on June 15, 1940. It was then known as the "Cahuenga Pass Highway."  Pacific Electric Railway streetcars ran down the center of this highway until 1952. The next section of freeway extending from the San Diego Valley to Downtown Bloxburg City opened on April 16, 1954, at a cost of $55 million (R$22 billion).  The final section, north of Claire Freeway to Golden State Freeway, was completed in 1965.
