The Department was founded on June 11, 1920, after pioneer-pilot Richard Dudley attempted to purchase a plot of land in Bloxward County, Blorida in order to build a federally-licensed airstrip. The airstrip began construction on August 2, 1920, and was named, "North Miablox Airport", It would later end up becoming Dos Bocas - Fort Havana International Airport (DFIA), Which it was originally in what is now modern day Parkview, Blorida.
Since 1972, the Bloxward County Aviation Department has managed and completed over 17 Million plane flights just in the Dos Bocas - Fort Havana International Airport (DFIA), alone, and 3 Million annual flights at other airports in Bloxward County, Blorida.
