Bacon Air Transport (BAT) 45 was a flight from Bacon City to Bloxico City in April 7, 2013. There were 55 passengers and 6 crew members on that flight. The plane was a 737-800.

Accident

In April 7, 2013, Bacon Air Transport was flying a chartered flight to Bloxico City. Given that Bacon Air Transport was a charter airline focused on flights that were organized by people, most of the planes owned by Bacon Air Transport were kept stored for a long time. Rarely, BAT would announce a maintenance date for the planes, so issues were common in these planes operated by them.

In the airport, people had boarded the aircraft at 6:50 AM. There were 55 passengers in the aircraft, but 7 passengers were late and missed the flight. During takeoff, there was reports of some parts being flung, specifically located in the right wing. Most parts were flung, but some were loose upon takeoff. During the flight, there was nearly no turbulence, and when a passenger reported that something felt off, the cabin crew told the person that it is a minor issue. When the cabin crew told the cockpit crew, the pilot said they will reach Bloxico soon. The ATC patrolling the area that BAT 45 was flying across was notified and was said to accept BAT 45 in case anything happens.

Upon nearly completing the flight, there was heavy turbulence, which had made one of the loose parts go into the engine, causing the engine to explode which tore off the right side of the plane, scooping up ten people and causing them to fly out of the plane. The plane was still flying, but then the right wing had collapsed and collided to the fuselage, causing the plane to break apart in pieces. This happened so fast that the passengers had only 20 seconds to live after the right side had been torn. The pieces then crashed into the Telamon Sea.

Aftermath

Only some parts of BAT 45 were found, and BAT 45's other parts are still underwater. 36 passengers and crew members are still missing to this date, and investigators are still finding remains and parts to this date.

BAT ceased operations in 2014 due to Robloxians exposing what they did to their aircrafts. This had caused less passengers to book Bacon Air Transport flights.
