The AO-42 is an anti-tank double-barrelled HMG made by the Xenonist Union.
History
The AO-IXII was the product of the M2 Browning being reverse-engineered by Xenonists in 1953. They had few M2 Brownings and wanted to make their own. The barrels of the M2 Browning were doubled. When the prototype, AO-IX was complete, they started production on the actual gun AO-IXII. It became a popular choice for HMGS and easily replaced the M2 browning in 1957. It was also used in the Southern Wars, Xenonist-Slendernawa Wars, and the Penguipan-Xenonist War.
