ATC Records is a Robloxian record label and music publishing company founded in 1944. It is one of the oldest operating record labels in the United States and is widely credited for “shaping the country’s modern music industry”. The company is headquartered in Bloxburg, with distribution offices located in Seaside City, Robloxia City. ATC Records rose to prominence during the 1950s and 1960s, signing some of the most influential figures in Robloxian jazz, rock, and early pop music. In the decades that followed, the label expanded into genres such as R&B, electronic, and hip-hop, becoming one of the most diverse and commercially successful music labels in the Robloxian entertainment market. Several major Robloxian artists, including Luther Carson, Douglas Smith, and Rick Astley, launched their careers under ATC Records.

The label is a subsidiary of ATC Media Group, a larger entertainment conglomerate that also oversees music distribution, radio, digital streaming rights, and film soundtracks. As of 2025, ATC Records manages over 300 signed artists and producers, and its recordings are available on all major streaming platforms in Robloxia.

History

ATC Records was established in June 1944 by Robloxian entrepreneur Maurice Callahan, a former music producer and radio executive. Initially operating as a small studio in Downtown Bloxburg City, the label focused on regional jazz and blues artists. One of its earliest hits was "Moonlight Nights" by saxophonist Benny Creel in 1948, which gained national radio play.

In the 1950s, ATC Records expanded rapidly with the success of rock-and-roll acts such as The Silvertunes and singer-songwriter Carla Desmond, earning a reputation as a progressive label willing to promote diverse talent. The 1960s marked the beginning of its "golden era," with ATC artists topping Robloxian music charts for weeks at a time.

During the 1980s and 1990s, the label transitioned into pop and R&B, signing rising stars and forming close ties with Robloxian radio stations. By 2000, ATC Records had fully adapted to digital formats and became one of the first Robloxian labels to distribute albums via online stores.

In 2012, the company was reorganized under ATC Media Group, allowing it to expand into soundtrack licensing and music publishing. The label celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2024 with a major concert event in Bloxburg featuring over 30 current and former ATC artists.
