The AFC-BIFF partnership is a partnership between two confederations managing international association football competitions: the Aquaria Football Confederation and the Bloxartic Institution for Football, initiated by an agreement signed on November 29, 2025.

The beginning of the partnership

The Bloxartic Institution for Football was established in November 2025 as a confederation of football associations from Bloxartica. Immediately after its inception, BIFF officials suggested they would like to apply to join the FAFI. However, there was some controversy. For example, only three of the confederation's nine members were eligible to apply to the FAFI, as the rest were football associations from territories of other countries, which were the responsibility of federations already in the FAFI. The quality of the pitches was also questioned. The Neotopia Football Association decided to explore opportunities to join an official confederation, allowing the association to join the FAFI and compete in international football. Other BIFF associations soon followed suit. It was decided to start partnership with the AFC, which proved to be the only confederation interested. The partnership proved beneficial to the BIFF teams due to the lower level of teams in the AFC, which meant that BIFF teams actually had some chance of competing. The agreement was signed on November 29th in Auckblox, Blox Zealand.

Effects

As a result of the partnership, Bloxartica's football associations received observer status with the AFC and were allowed to participate in tournaments organized by the confederation, including the FAFI Roblox Cup qualifiers. Subsequently, through the AFC's support, three BIFF teams passed FAFI inspections and, after demonstrating compliance with membership requirements, joined FAFI in December 2025. As a result of the agreement, BIFF teams will participate in the qualifiers for the 2030 FAFI Roblox Cup through the AFC pathway and can also apply to participate in the 2028 AFC Nations Cup.
