The 83rd Annual Primetime Bloxy Award was delivered to all winners of the Bloxy Awards on September 8, 2017. Winners consisted of popular settlement leaders, builders, artists, and video makers on Robloxia.
Controversy
The controversy of the 2017 Bloxy awards was the academy's decision to host the awards for the second time at the La Brea Palace. In November 2016, it had been announced that the iconic Palace had made plans with the academy to host the Bloxys again. In January 2017, a conversation with the La Brea Institute was leaked in which members of the Bloxburg Valley State Senate complained that the La Brea Palace was for exclusive concerts and not ceremonies. This caused controversy at first, but this was disproved.
