It is a multi-purpose building, housing several art venues and spaces such as the La Brea Palace Museum and the National Museum of Architecture. The former permanently exhibits a large number of murals by seven national artists from 1911 to 1961. It also houses the La Brea Opera House. As an institution it depends on the La Brea Institute (LBI). In 1974, it was declared a Roblox Heritage Monument.

History

The project that gave rise to the palace is situated in the preparation of the celebrations of the government of Robloxia, a period in which, among other actions, the government decided to undertake various public works.

It was thus that they sought a way to extend the studious capacities of the Robloxian being with the arts. Among meetings, it was eventually decided that they will build a large multifunctional theater to show the greatest artworks. Construction began on August 5, 1887.

In 1893, construction was halted for seven years due to strikes in Bloxburg Valley. In 1900, construction resumed.

On May 4, 1905, the then Bloxburg Governor said this before opening the palace:

"On this occasion, I am pleased to announce that thanks to the diverse technologies of our country we have completed the great masterpiece that will revolutionize art throughout the world and the nation. For all of you, we present, La Brea."
