What started as a tornado hitting Wadena, Keysota soon sparked one of the worst non-tornado disasters for Keysota. Because Keysota was not prepared for a flood (it was only prepared for tornadoes), civilians, storm chasers, and EMS did not know what to do, so they just chased that day and healed and covered NPCs as usual until the flood effectively bricked their chances to chase, in which they just simply evacuated the state. This proved to be a huge and grave mistake at first but eventually it was resolved.
Synopsis:
- Before a tornado stuck Wadena during the 2029 Keysota tornado outbreak, it hit Sneed, causing a dam failure. It burst the dam, shutting off power in nearby areas, and causing most of the areas south of the dam in Keysota to flood as the Wentachee River started to overflow its banks. A few cities were lost under the flood water as it headed south into Rossota. It flooded the entire state of Keysota and some portion of North Central Rossota where it died out into the south. The flood would later expand to Mulica where it would soon died out into the east.
Aftermath:
- After the flood had dried up, Willzuh and Siryzm announced that Keysota was in a total property loss and that they did not recognize the state anymore. Instead of getting construction workers to rebuild the state as it once was, Willzuh and Siryzm decided to enact several key pieces of legislation:
- Sell Cherokee County to Rossota
- Annex Polk, Kanabec, and Itasca County to Keysota
- Quadruple the size of the state (156.25 mi2 -> 625 mi2)
