Starting on August 10, 2025, in response to the deportation of Schlepington, for allegedly violating the Robloxian Constitution, numerous protests erupted in the Robloxian city of Robloxity. Although many of the protests were peaceful, there were reports of looting going on in the wake of the protests. Protesters had been calling for Matt Bloxman to resign from his position, and for David "Builderman" Baszucki to be arrested in response to the allegations.
Start
The so-called vigilante, Schlepington, who had caught at least six child predators throughout Robloxia, had been sent a cease and desist letter as well as a notice to immediately self deport. This caused a widespread outcry to the Robloxian government to reinstate his citizenship and allow him to stay. Protests erupted in major cities across Robloxia, Bloxanada and Bloxjiado. The first known protests related to this in the city of Robloxity, broke out on August 12, 2025 in 1Dev2 Square in Downtown Robloxity. Officers of the RPD were called to keep the order during the protests and some officers even joined in the demonstrations.
Robloxity Metro Shutdown
Because the protests had been so intense, the RTC announced they would be shutting down several key downtown subway stations to prevent bottlenecks, and possible damage, on August 19, after riot police had to be called to control the crowds at the stations.
Looting
Despite much of the protests being peaceful, or at the most, mildly disruptive, there were reports of individuals breaking into stores in the midst of the protests, however it was later revealed that they were not a part of the demonstrations.
