2025 Most Famous User Tournament (ChikoritaTheRobloxian)

The 2025 ChikoritaTheRobloxian's Most Famous User Tournament is an presumably annual tournament held in Robloxiapedia Discuss. It is a tournament organized as a series of timed elections. The participants include the top 16 editors on Robloxiapedia (sorted by points) other than ChikoritaTheRobloxian. It took place from June 2, 2025 to June 6, 2025 at Robloxiapedia Discuss.

The championship follows the brusque cancellation of the 2025 Scorpio8783's Most Famous User Tournament.

Structure

The single-elimination tournament has a unique structure. Since there are 18 users on the leaderboard other than ChikoritaTheRobloxian himself, and he wanted to make sure each election has the same number of users, he decided that the number of editors that would participate would be one of the perfect powers that are less than 18, namely ${\displaystyle 4=2^2 }$, ${\displaystyle 8=2^3}$, ${\displaystyle 9=3^2}$, and ${\displaystyle 16=2^4=4^2}$. Since ChikoritaTheRobloxian wanted to maximize the number of users that could participate based on the leaderboard, he chose 16. Unfortunately, since 16 can be written as ${\displaystyle 16=2^4=4^2}$, ChikoritaTheRobloxian had to choose the number of candidates to appear in each election. ChikoritaTheRobloxian broke the tie by considering tournament length in mind and choosing the shortest possible tournament length. Would ChikoritaTheRobloxian had chosen two candidates per round, this would result in fifteen rounds since ${\displaystyle 2^{3}+2^{2}+2^{1}+2^{0}=15}$, meaning that the tournament would last until June 16, 2025. However, by increasing the candidates to four, this would result in five rounds since ${\displaystyle 4^{1}+4^{0}=5}$, meaning that the tournament round would last until June 6, 2025.

Participants are then divided into four unnamed teams. A user in a team advances by winning an election against their three opponent users. Each election lasts 24 hours. The finals consist of the advanced user from each election forming an unnamed team, and the same user advancement rules apply. The winner of the finals election is crowned the second most famous user, since it is already known that the first most famous user is ChikoritaTheRobloxian.

To avoid self-promotion, teammate-promotion, and bureaucratic intervention, team members and the host himself can even vote on the elections, but those votes will be discarded.

Since such a format is conducive to ties, three-way ties, and dreaded four-way ties, in the case of existence of ties, ties will be broken with the additional criteria:

• Edit count
• Post count
• Points on leaderboard

If a tie is broken using one of the criteria, the rest of the criteria are not used, and the user who won proceeds to advance.
