Initial Protests
The protests and riots started in February 14, 2024, when the Bloxingtonian Intelligence Agency (BIA) had a mission to save Mayor Mike, Brookhaven's former mayor, who was targeted and threatened by a bounty hunting company. This included the BHPD to also respond and help the BIA. However, it did not go as expected as one of the hunters ignored the negotiator and the director of the intelligence and shot Mayor Mike. This caused the BIA to receive outrageous amounts of criticism. Within days, news of the criticism spread throughout the country, enraging the country and the government. This caused the BIA and the government to start an investigation as they did not got the proper identity of the two escaped hunters that escaped that day which lasted for two years. The government announced that all bounty hunters will not be forgiven on the country.
First three months of the protest
The first three months during the protest, Bloxingtonians have been traveling to Brookhaven to visit the grave of Mayor Mike. Protests occurred in Brookhaven, and social media was full of hateful comments on bounty hunters to be ashamed for their act. Later, Mayor Mike's family has gained a lot of support from all the Bloxingtonians that came to protest, to show their support and feelings for him and the protesters.
Five months into the protest
On July 14, the BIA and the negotiation friend were searching deeply and have been in contact with authorities from Roblox governments and the Bloxington government. They were not playing and giving up, but rather they made huge puzzles of clues at their base. They investigated down at the town hall, but they could not find the true identities yet.
Eight months of the protest
On October 14, the Bloxington government has banned flights to countries with a huge presence of bounty hunters, have increased security, and revoked the right of bounty hunters to reintegrate themselves in society. Meanwhile, the country's immigration and customs enforcement authorized the deportation of any bounty hunter in the country for tourism purposes, which caused them to start getting negative reputation from locals in the country as many local businesses started to fire them because they were bounty hunters. Many bounty hunters received hatred and discrimination on the basis of their occupation, and even future bounty hunters were not immune from the criticism.
Nine months of the protest
On November 14th, the President of Bloxington has made major discussion with all the countries of Roblox that plan to expand their bounty hunting business on Bloxington, warning that they will no longer accept their business here due to new laws.
April 2025
The Bloxingtonian government has begun to execute foreign bounty hunter groups, bounty hunters, ambush bail bond companies outside of Bloxington, and started to criminalize private justice, private enforcement, and vigilantism. Those who were caught were to be deported, arrested, and in some cases, given the death penalty. This was seen as discrimination.
August 2025
The Bloxingtonian government made it clear by doing business and discussions and diplomacy on places where bounty hunting is legal (countries, cities, states, and other such places...), they would ban the act of detention from a bounty hunter done on Bloxingtonian citizens now outside bloxingtonian territories, which spread an outrage on bounty hunters as an act of unfairness as every bounty hunter legal city contains a small Bloxingtonian government office and consulate which helps bloxingtonian tourists on these places, or that they can have the power to storm through bail bond agencies to free the Bloxingtonians convicted.
Later, the Bloxingtonian government doubled on their stance of vigilantism when it announced that Schlepington, which had been deported in Robloxia for being a vigilante, is also not welcome in Bloxington. This triggered a second wave of protests known as the Free Schlepington Movement in Bloxington. Strangely enough, the Robloxian government adopted an anti-vigilantism law after, proving that anti-vigilantism is starting to spread in Roblox.
October 2025
Bounty hunters, now unemployed, marched to Bloxington, at Car Crushers City to protest there, which did not last long as Bloxingtonian authorities went full force on them to detain them. Bloxingtonians started to believe that bounty hunters are also greedy people and extremists, which caused the Bloxingtonian society to not accept them and their profession. They also disliked private justice.
February 2026
After two long years, the Bloxingtonian intelligence and government has finally found the identities of the escaped ones; there were two female bounty hunters from the Agency Empire. This caused the president to realize to give the Bloxingtonian public and government big apologies for the delayed investigation, and make discussions with the president, Paul VI, again.
March 2026
After two long years the BIA and President Paul brought the two hunters, along with their leader who has hidden between the mountains of Brookhaven for 2 years, to the top of the mountain to execute them. They were all three chained up and lined on the edge from falling in a deep pit, as President Paul has proceeded the execution, putting an end to the whole protest and investigation.
After the protest
Bloxington has stopped the mass extermination and the protest, and has come in peace with the activists. However, the republic of Bloxington, the government of Bloxington and its people still show a grudge on the profession, but it was a symbol of victory for Bloxington. However, the Robloxian government still banned vigilantism. As of June 14, 2026, vigilantism still remains banned in Robloxia.
Response:
President Paul VI (President of Bloxington)'s Response:
"I don't care what they say, or what they think, they shouldn't have killed Mike..." was his response on bounty hunters, he doesn't give a damn about them, he doesn't even listen to them, he just hates them....
Later, it was found out that Paul VI only likes vigilantes in fiction, but not in Roblox.
