  • February 15-28 - The 2017 Roblox Winter Games are held in Ro-Switzerland and Ro-Italy. It remained the largest Roblox Winter Games event until 2024.
  • February 15 - An essay by John Greyrock is published, titled "Why a Corporatist Government isn't Safe", which went popular and was criticized by Robloxian government officials.
  • February 17 - Payments made with Robux via bank cards were delayed due to an outage affecting most bank terminals. The issue was resolved two days later.

  • March 3 - Bloxtendo Swapp, one of the best selling consoles of all time and the first hybrid console, gets released.
  • March 29 - Negotiations start for Bloxia Kingdom to leave the Eurobloxian Union.

  • May 1 - BloxTuber Quackity gets deported from Robloxia to Mexico. This erupted raids in the Robloxian government forums, and later, the forums put out security measures. Seven months later, the forums were closed.
  • May 8-12 – The Bloxvision Song Contest 2017 takes place in Ryiv, Keviabloxia.

June

  • June 3 - The 2017 EUFA Champions League final is held, between Real Madriblox and Juveblox, in Ro-Cardiff.
  • June 4 - A second series of raids made by Quackity and his fans start on the Robloxian government forums. The forums close temporarily.
  • June 27 - July 11 - 2017 Roblox Summer Games are held in Robloxia and Bloxanada.

  • October 2-27 - The 2017 Guest Genocide starts. It ended on October 27, successfully. The genocide was heavily criticized and regretted, up to this day.
  • October 27 - Catabloxia gets independence; but isn't recognized by any sovereign nation.

November

  • November 4 - Guests are mentioned in a Robloxian document, positively. The Robloxian government immediately rewrote the document.
  • November 24 - Guest Kingdom's government establish an escape route from the Kingdom to Baoji or South Bloxmerica

December

  • December 4 - Robloxian government shutdowns the forums, the reason is due to them not providing a positive environment, getting raided, and them being abused. The forums were archived, but became read-only.
  • December 5-11 - Civil unrest in Robloxia erupts, known as the "War of the Robloxians", due to public outrage with the government.
