Notice! This is a remake of the 2015 Powercut / 2015 Power Cut article.
In June 2015, Northeastern Robloxia was in a blackout that lasted three years because the Blox Electricity power plant exploded because the core had critical mass. It took three years for the power to be back on for all of Northeastern Robloxia.
Prior to the 2015 Blackout:
The day of May 31, 2015:
Early on the day of May 31, 2015, a warm front attached to an upper level low traversed across New Bloxia, bringing with it light rain showers and abnormally high temperatures for Northeastern Robloxian states such as New Bloxia.
On the day of May 31, 2015, the Eastern Robloxia fault finally ruptured and caused an earthquake that was felt all around New Bloxia and other areas of Northeastern Robloxia, with the magnitude being a 6.5 earthquake as many buildings collapsed and trees downed. The Blox Electricity power plant nearby partially collapsed, causing a widespread transient fault in New Bloxia which later dispersed to other states of Northeastern Robloxia. Tropical Storm Abigail made landfall on the day of May 31, 2015, in New Bloxia, causing more than 40,000 reports of transient faults for every state in Northeastern Robloxia as straight-line winds of 70 mph downed trees and further collapsed the Blox Electricity power plant.
The night of May 31, 2015:
The warm air was quickly disturbed, when, that night, a cold front swept through New Bloxia and instantly dropped low-altitude temperatures by as much as 30 degrees, resulting in the formation of several thunderstorms in Northeastern Robloxia.
Throughout the night of May 31, 2015, more of the storm systems along the front became severe as characteristics of severe thunderstorms became more apparent. At the head of the front in New Bloxia, straight-line winds of 70 MPH caused downed trees and even more transient faults as the Blox Electricity power plant even further collapsed. Also, at the head of the front, in New Bloxia, a mesocyclone which would evolve to a funnel cloud and later a 70 mph EF0 tornado was reported, spotted, and touched down near the Blox Electricity power plant. The tornado later tore through the western end of the Blox Electricity power plant, collapsing the Blox Electricity power plant to the point of critical mass on 2355. During the 2015 Blackout:
The day of June 1, 2015
On midnight of the day of June 1, 2015, all systems failed to return to normal and the danger in the sector failed to neutralize, causing the meltdown to occur. After the meltdown, the Blox Electricity power plant fully collapsed, causing not just a transient fault, but a blackout that not only impacted Blox Electricity users, but users of subsidiaries of Blox Electricity headquartered in Northeastern Robloxia, such as Northern Bloxburg Valley Edison, Southern Bloxburg Valley Edison, and Bloxy Electricity and Pay. The blackout would be known as the 2015 Blackout. Pacifico, a user of Blox Electricity, was able to restore its electricity in the morning of June 1, 2015, as construction group workers activated an experimental powerline adapter, which lasted for three years before the experimental powerline adapter ran out of battery.
Other cities:
Other cities in Northeastern Robloxia, such as Bloxburg, Seaboard City, Livetopia, and Robloxity, followed suit posthaste. Eventually, the only areas without electricity were areas that relied on Blox Electricity or their subsidiaries headquarters in Northeastern Robloxia, but did not care or adapted a new lifestyle. The most notable of those areas included Sacramento, San Juan, which adapted a lifestyle similar to Earth's Amish, though the adaptation was rough.
New Blockers City
New Blockers City focused one half of its lifestyle on Amish and one half of its lifestyle on rebuilding the New Bloxia power plant after it melted down. The adaption was very rough, as both halves of the New Bloxian lifestyle were retrograde of each other. However, they had to rebuild the barren area. The barren area was rebuilt on December 1, 2016. On December 2, 2016, building for the new Blox Electricity power plant commenced, which would be on the dead center of the barren area.
Recovery
On May 31, 2018, the new Blox Electricity power plant was finished. It began operations on June 1, 2018, which started power in Sacramento, San Juan, New Blockers City, and other areas without electricity at that time, ending the 2015 Blackout. The new Blox Electricity power plant was seismologically retrofitted and meteorologically retrofitted to withstand tornadoes up to EF3 and earthquakes up to 10.0.
After the 2015 Blackout:
Life in Northeastern Robloxia returned to normal, which was also a rough adaptation.
