The Blox Electricity Power Plant Meltdown was a catastrophic nuclear accident that occurred at the Blox Electricity Power Plant in the spring day of June 1, 2015. It caused the Blox Electricity Power Plant to collapse, causing not just a transient fault, but a blackout that not only impacted Blox Electricity users, but also users of subsidiaries of Blox Electricity headquartered in Northeastern Robloxia, such as Northern Bloxburg Valley Edison, Southern Bloxburg Valley Edison, and Bloxy Electricity and Pay. The blackout would be known as the 2015 Blackout. The accident killed no one because everyone sought immediate shelter. However, it rendered every unsheltered place within 19 miles barren.
The cause of the accident was attributed to a "critical mass" in one of the sector's reactors that culminated in an atomic explosion and the release of vast amounts of radiation. The blast was extensive, having had the capacity to obliterate the unsheltered landscape for over 19 miles from the epicenter in all directions. The initial explosion occurred on June 1, 2015, after nobody noticed a fault in the sector's main safety systems, which had not been operating for at least three days prior to the incident. The reactor eventually overheated, leading to uncontrolled reaction conditions that were similar to that if the bomb that was dropped in Hiroshima was dropped at the center, which killed no one, as everyone sought immediate shelter, but destroyed the unsheltered Blox Electricity Power Plant and nearly obliterated an unsheltered community and surrounding unsheltered communities.

A few hours after the accident, the black box was found from the former location of the Blox Electricity Power Plant. Attempts to recover the black box from the former location of the Blox Electricity determined that the black box was destroyed in the meltdown.
Aftermath
In the following weeks, Blox Electricity's stock suffered the worst decline since September 11, 2001. Blox Electricity, which had already been struggling financially that season, went into administration just hours after the accident, leaving employees of Blox Electricity without jobs, and all its transformers, transmission lines, neighborhood transformers, distribution lines, and transformers on poles stopped working all over the nation; it was among one of the largest Blox Electricity collapses in Blox Electricity's history.
