The 2011 Lorja War, also known as the Medan Uprisings, was a brief urban war fought between Ro-Kasom, and Lorjan Militia groups. Protesting in Lorja occoured as a result of Police in Southern Medan, arresting several Pro-Bacon Protestors, which resulted in a small protest in the city, on July 25th, 2011, which was later assaulted by several members of the Ro-Kasomian Secret Police, as a result, 3 protestors would be shot dead in the streets by Police officers.
Later, several Lorjan Militia groups, angered by it, would form an alliance, and on July 30th, 2011, Lorjan Militia Groups attacked the Teec Noc Pros Checkpoint, which connected Lorja and the main land Ro-Kasom, as well as majority Ro-Kasom Cities and towns in southern regions, which would trigger a response of the Ro-Kasom Government and Defense Forces, with the immobilization of around 5,200 Kasom Defense Forces being deployed on the island.
The war brought further civil unrest, although a victor has never been officially agreed upon, both sides have claimed victory to the conflict, and as a result of it, it lead to further unrest and stability in the region of Lorja.
During the killings on July 30th, 30 would be killed, 7 were taken hostage, with militia groups later releasing the bodies of 2 hostages who were killed whilst being held hostage.
