The 2008 Sandatopian Conflict is an armed guerilla warfare that took place in northwest Sandatopia from May 2, 2008 to January 12, 2009. The Sandatopian National Army fought against guerilla forces sent by Sayf Alasid, a Shia Jihadist paramilitary organization. The Sandatopian Army was supported by Robloxia and Emiratopia and the Iranian Goverment supported the guerrillas.

Cause of the War
On April 26th, 2008, a terrorist attack in Jizzanahwas caused by numerous armed gunmen allegedly sent by Sayf Alasid. The attack lead to the deaths of 53 civilians, two police officers, and four of the unknown gunmen. As a response, in May 1st, 2008, the Sandatopian government detected a nearby Sayf Alasid hideout in northeast Sandatopia and destroyed it with missiles, killing 7 Sayf Alasid Militants. This led to Sayf Alasid declaring a guerilla war against Sandatopia.
