The Roblox Space Station took this image and was sent to Robloxia. It is an alien spaceship using a climate controlling laser beam. On top of the spaceship is a very large object, presumably the mothership.
The Laser Beam Disaster is a disaster that created a Roblox-storm in 2002. It is announced that the disaster was caused by a climate control alien spaceship invasion, hence the moniker: "The Laser Beam Disaster" in 2017. Prior to the official announcement, many Robloxians theorized that the Laser Beam Disaster was caused by Kāpua before it was revealed in 2017 that Kāpua was not responsible for this disaster. It was unknown if it was actually aliens until 2032, because that is when Seth Ez made contact with them.
Synopsis
In 1999, after realizing Robloxia faced few catastrophic natural disasters, aliens came together to form an intergalactic coalition while commissioning an intricate network of alien spaceships with laser beams that can control Robloxia's climate. The idea of this network was thought by a male alien, which later lead the alien spaceship invasion which was codenamed as "Robloxian Male". The first phase of Robloxian Male was tested to create a hurricane in the Bloxington Ocean. It was named Hurricane Arlene and was successful.
In 2002, Robloxian Male's second phase begins. A winter storm forms by a laser in Pine County, making it even more frozen. (Winter Storm A). Robloxian engineers try to copy data from the alien spaceship created a winter storm in Pine County onto a hard drive, but they are killed by it ironically. President ROBLOX then conducts an investigation and persuades several Robloxians known as Climates to go to the mothership to investigate. More lasers are fired at major cities of Robloxia, beginning at Brookhaven. The laser severely increases Brookhaven temperatures before causing a fire whirl outbreak ( Brookhaven Fire Whirl Outbreak )
Climates arrives at the mothership to examine the alien spaceships, which were programmed to change Robloxia's climate. They recover the hard drive, but hide it, suspecting an alien, and examine the data, leading to the discovery that Robloxia's climate will be uninhabitable soon. Climates need to destroy the motherships to eliminate the threat. Climates then troll the alien spaceships, causing many alien spaceships to lose their laser beam powers in the progress.
Back on Robloxia, Robloxians warn of a global cataclysm known as a "Roblox-Storm" if the aliens continue to fire climate controlling laser beams. Several Robloxians are pursued to Bloxington Island by a team of rogue Roblox Administrators, who ultimately cause a ban wave, the reason being: "RobloxianMale". Discovering Robloxian Male is an alien ship invasion that creates extreme weather patterns with climate controlling laser beams, with the final climate disaster being a Roblox-storm, rendering all of Robloxia uninhabitable, President Roblox hires another group of Robloxians, called the Weathers to shut down the mothership. During this time, the mothership activates its self-destruct program.
During the Robloxian National Convention in Miablox, Palm County, Weathers discover Miablox is next to be targeted after a massive hailstorm hits Robloxity ( Robloxity Tornado Outbreak ) and a winter storm takes out a portion of Bloxburg ( 2002 Bloxburg Winter Storm ). One Weather member gets trolled when aliens pretending to aid the Weathers attempts unsuccessfully to kill him. The aliens then abduct all the Weathers to protect him from the alien's agents and prevent the Climates from shutting down their mothership. As they escape from the arena before a laser beam fires in Palm County, spawning a legendary rainstorm which later destroys the arena, Weathers later arrests the aliens, to which the aliens confess they created Roblox-storm. The Weathers tell the Climates the procedure to deactivate the mothership, but learn that the mothership's self-destruct sequence is unable to be aborted.
Meanwhile, in the Climates point of view, as more laser beams fire around Robloxia, spawning more disasters (including the Greenville Tornado Outbreak, Nikilis City Heat Wave, and Bloxy River Megatsunami ), Climates use the deactivation procedure and finish it at the last second before the massive laser is fired, which would spawn a Roblox-storm.
They then escape in the Roblox Space Station, where they take shelter as the mothership explodes, but it fires a laser in Robloxia anyways. This would spawn The 2002 Core Disaster. The Roblox Space Station's pilots then land the space station on Robloxia for a temporary stop.
It took one year for damages from this disaster were effectively erased, which were pushed to after the Core Disaster.
