Based of The Core ( 2003 ). In fact, a Robloxian recorded this disaster and turned it into a movie that was released in 2003.
After many years of uninterrupted rotating, Roblox's core finally stopped rotating, all thanks to several, small, and disparate earthquakes occurring in the deepest point in the Telamon Sea.
Without the rotation of the core, an electromagnetic field can not be induced, causing the electromagnetic field to gradually shut down within months, exposing Robloxia to even more solar radiation.
The first side effects of this natural disaster was birds. Yes, birds. In North Robloxity, the birds were not aware that the magnetic field was getting weaker. They started to jump and flew into buildings trying to find the way south. Many of the birds died. Some of the birds were injured. However, animals that relied on other phenomena to navigate were left unimpeded from this effect.
The second phase was superstorms that were about half the size of a Category 3 hurricane. The storms produced purple lightning, which was even hotter than lightning itself. The lightning hit many areas, however slightly slower than usual, giving Robloxians 2 seconds of time to dodge it. There was one storm at first that hit Proto-Robloxia. The state was hit by this storm and several iconic buildings were destroyed, such as the Happy Home in Robloxia, which was home of builderman. It was burnt to the ground by the lightning. The crossroads area was also hit causing the castle to be destroyed. "Right now we can see some clouds in the sky. But minutes ago here in Proto-Robloxia, it was a different story. In just 1 hour, nature destroyed years worth of history and several Robloxians. A freak lightning storm caused multiple buildings in the area to burn or explode, or just crack and collapse."- News Anchorman "bloxxerdaman20"
The third phase was the atmosphere breaking apart. Luckily nothing broke, but unfortunately something worse did. The ozone layer. Roblox's ozone layer had started to crack. In Miablox, the ozone layer was completely broken and caused Downtown to burn. The punches in it was about the size of Robloxity High School's football field. Several Robloxians were given 3rd degree burns or blinded permanently by the sun's UV rays. The city of Miablox, and neighboring areas and most of Palm County are now destroyed. This was the 3rd-2nd-1st most deadliest Robloxian disaster. A team of 168 people were sent to put bombs in the core to make it rotate. This plan worked somehow, the person who thought of it and led the team said it as a joke. The man who did it, Mr_longpants was considered a hero. He unfortunately passed away in 2015.
The ship was designed by him as well. The ship was named MOGUERA, which means Mole in Japanese.
65 Robloxians worked in a command center to arm torpedoes and shoot lasers on monitors, as if they were playing Space Invaders. They were tasked to destroy objects that get in their way, and to help restore the core. 5 Robloxians were medics who had protective UV glasses on. They took injured members to the Medical Bay to heal. 27 Robloxians were in the main Command Center and controlled the drills and lasers. They played the most important role as well, getting them to the core and back to the launch pad on the Moon. 60 Robloxians had nothing to do but maintain the ship by keeping the fuel tank filled, as 7 liters of gasoline were being taken up every second by the drills. Debris from the drills that came in would be thrown out via the garbage chutes that were installed around the ship. The way that the debris came in would be patched.
The operation was 30 hours long. The ship crashed in the void on a floating piece of crystal, similar to the baseplate legend in the clouds. Magma started to pour as the actual core's shield was breached and magma dropped from a ceiling made of rock and crystal. The ship made it out in time as the magma almost hit the ship. The ship's system was damaged severely and the maintenance engineers were killed.
About 51 perished, there was not enough time so the engineer who helped make the indestructible material the exterior of the ship was made of, Miabloxypie volunteered to manually override the backup system. She died from extreme heat. 2 seconds before her unfortunate death, she pulled the override switch saving the day. She was remembered and still is as a hero. If Mia had not volunteered and no one else, the crew might have just stayed there in the void and wait for magma to kill them all alone 7,000 miles underground.
The death toll was at 48,500. The injury toll in Robloxia alone was 190,000. The missing people toll was 685,119. (Most missing people cases filed in Miablox.)
However, some effects of the 2002 Core Disaster can still be felt. In Twister County, tornadoes suddenly worsened and the worsening still lasts to this day.
This is most likely in 2nd place for the record, however the 2012 Robloxian Earthquake was worse. A debate still exists to this day whether this was worst than the 2012 Earthquake or the Robloxian Ice Age.
