The 1998 Bloxburg City Riots, sometimes called the Bloxburg City Uprising, were a series of riots and civil disturbances that occurred in Carmen County from May to June 1998. The riots began in south-central Bloxburg City on May 29, after a jury acquitted four Bloxburg Police Department (BCPD) officers accused of excessive force in the arrest and beating of a black man.
