The Salois V Disaster was an explosion that took place 25.3 kilo studs (7.084 kilometers) above Launch Pad 27C on June 28, 1971. The explosion was estimated to be over 13.8 kilotons of TNT in power. The explosion caused 787 Billion Robux (1971) in damages and killed over 2,300 Robloxians. Debris was also launched over 500,000 studs (140 kilometers) across Robloxia with which one ended up hitting an apartment center, killing 86 Robloxians. It is believed that the cause for the explosion was a faulty valve which caused a spark igniting all of the fuel on board. This event temporarily halted Robloxia's space exploration for a year. RASA notified everyone on Moon Base Blox and everyone that food and water rationing would be effective during the halt, and the Moon base Blox was abandoned.
