Presidential elections were held in the Robloxian Empire on November 29, 1768. Reform-Conservative Party nominee Edwin Tyler Cassel defeated Toupee nominee Charles Tousant and another Reform-Conservative Party nominee William Harper. These were the last elections in the Robloxian Empire, as in 1785, President E.T. Cassel transformed the Robloxian Empire into the United States of Robloxia, replacing variable-term oligarchy with fixed-term democracy.
The Reform-Conservative Party fielded two candidates: Vice President William Harper and Representative Edwin Tyler Cassel of Bloxassachusetts. Harper failed to gain significant support from party supporters in the 100 member Electoral College. Meanwhile, Cassel and his running mate, Colonel Richard "Noobly" Bloxington, were gaining popularity.
In view of the surge in support for Cassel during the day before the election, the Toupee nominee Charles Tousant could not count on winning and obtained only 16% of the Electoral College's support.
Edwin Tyler Cassel won the election with 71% of the votes. In the following years, he defeated the Korbloxians in the Robloxian Revolutionary War, after which he introduced a new constitution, abolished the imperial era of Robloxia, and gave birth to Robloxian Empire's new name, the United States of Robloxia. Confusingly, he decided to keep the electoral college, but the words electoral college were to be interpreted differently; rather than being selected by a group, they were being selected by the robloxians, though the right to vote for all robloxians was not immediately given, preventing the early republic from being an universal democracy. The 1768 election was the last election in Robloxian history in which a near-unanimity of Robloxians simply could not vote due to not being invited to the 100 member Electoral College.
