Presidential elections were held in the Robloxian Empire on June 4, 1720. Reform Party nominee Bryan Trublox defeated Toupee candidate Robert Arrowsmith. The elections put an end to a short Toupee Party rule in Robloxia, which lasted only two years.
A young Reform Party nominee Bryan Trublox ran for office seeking to reform the military to withstand a potential invasion by the Korbloxians or the Rogaulians. The concept of preparing the army to fight or even attacking Korbloxians and reclaiming some of the recolonized states gained much support. He also gained support among casselists and expansionists.
Meanwhile, Toupee Party nominee Robert Arrowsmith attempted to gain electoral support for his candidacy, seeking to extend the party's brief reign. He gained the most support in Bloxissouri, Baine, and Western Robloxia.
Bryan Trublox won the election and served as the 15th president. Back then, the Robloxian Empire adopted oligarchy, and elections were only held if a candidate passed away or voluntarily resigned, effectively securing any chief executive who won a lifetime term at maximum. Despite the name being an empire, there was no imperial rule; the offspring of the chief executive were not immediately eligible for chief executive. His presidency saw minor reforms and the Bloody Bloxas, in which the army failed to take the southern states, but the Korbloxian attack on Central Robloxia and Bloxissouri was repelled. Trublox's actions inspired his successor, Edwin Tyler Cassel, who led the Robloxian Empire in the Robloxian Revolutionary War and enacted a new constitution, creating the United States of Robloxia and abolishing the variable-term oligarchy in favor of fixed-term democracy.
