Pavel Dobrik Armaments and Ammunitions (PDAA) is a Tovokian Federation arms manufacturer that was founded in 1960 by Pavel Dobrik (Tovokian:Павел Добрик, real name: Павел Антонов, Pavel Antonov) in St.Bloxsaburg, Tovokia. Following the events of the Cold War, PDAA expanded in late 1967 and manufactured a large number of firearms and military supplies for the Tovokian Federation.
The company's flagship gun is the PDK SC (Pavel Dobrik Suppressed Carbine, bloxaTovokiann:Павел Добрик Бесшумный карабин), which is an infamous rifle that widely known for its' reliability, power, accuracy and its' unique ability was being extraordinarily silent when shot thanks to the integrated suppressor. It was sold as a fully automatic assault rifle to Tovokian Federation private militaries and the Tovokian Federation military. As a result of high demand from Cold War veterans, PDAA sold an semi-automatic battle rifle to civilians that was a variant of the PDK SC.
History and products
PDAA began as a hobby of its' founder, Pavel Antonov. Its' year of establishment was around 1961, 1962 or most likely (and VERY likely), 1964 during the Vietblox War. Pavel Antonov started making Tovokian AK copies from around 1961 to 1965 which known for being ahead of its' time as the AK copies were extremely ergonomic, light, reliable while still maintaining a devastating firepower, but was criticized for its' design because the safety on the rifle needed the user to clamp their entire hand on the safety lever and the user had to put in as much force as they could to activate the safety of the AK. These AKs were often sold to warlords in Africa at the time, and also sold Northvalk Union military tanks to Bloxilibya by Yuri Bloxolrov before they stopped manufacturing Tovokian AKs in 1965. The company adopted a direct-to-consumer e-commerce sales model in present day and offered "buy-now-pay-later" plans, allow consumers to acquire costly weapons immediately and pay in installments over time.
The PDK-SC.
The company dramatically expanded in 1967 after winning a ₽40 million Tovokian Special Forces (TSF) contract during the Cold War when the TSF needed an assault rifle for specialized troops that was described as "so quiet it's safe without ear protection and can kill anyone without attracting unwanted attention" for night operation missions. Because of the request, Pavel and his firearms design team brainstormed for approximately 2500 hours until the head of the firearms design team came up with a proposal. Featuring an integrated suppressor, the PDK-SC was chambered in 9×39mm Tovokian, along with a 20 or 30 round magazine, a polymer pistol grip, a wire stock and can be switched from a 4-round burst fire to full automatic using a Western safety lever.
However, shortly after the Cold War during the fall of the Northvalk Union, Pavel Antonov moved his company to Robloxia after demands for the PDK SC from Tovokian Federation stopped. From there on, as Pavel experienced an extremely large cultural shock because of having a long time in Tovokian since he was born, he legally changed his name to Pavel Dobrik and re-established his company as an Tovokian-Robloxian firearms manufacturer. As he presented the PDK-SC to Robloxian consumers, it received lots of recognition and positivity. However, it was criticized for using subsonic ammunition as it prevented the PDK SC from shooting strong enough. Because of this, the PDK-SC came up with another PDK-SC variant that can shoot hollowpoint subsonic ammunition, which greatly increased its' already devastating firepower. It costed $2.670 USD in retail gun stores after approval from the Robloxian ATF was given.
PDK-SMR
After the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban (FAWB) was passed in Robloxia, Pavel struggled financially as his sales of the PDK-SC went down drastically and most copies of the PDK-SC in Robloxia was confisticated (over 5 million copies). Because of a surge of demand from the Cold War veterans in Robloxia and Tovokian Federation, Pavel struggled to sleep day and night wondering if his company will survive. Over time, he slowly went into a state of insomnia, amnesia and fear of being filed for bankruptcy. Fortunately, the ban only lasted for one day. However, after a mental breakdown and fearing that the ban might be reinstated, Pavel Antonov came up with a special variant of the PDK-SC carbine named the PDK-SSR (Pavel Dobrik Suppressed Marksman Rifle) that could only be fired semi-automatic and included an integrated PSO-1-1 optic while having a wooden buttstock and grip along with a 10-round magazine. After Pavel Dobrik put the PDK-SMR on the market and advertised as it as an non-assault weapon, it made PDAA's sales skyrocket as 50 million copies were sold across Robloxia and Tovokian Federation. 25 million copies were sold in Robloxia in 1996. Later on, when a high demand of Picatinny rails being used in rifles by several Robloxian gun manufacturers was still trending, Pavel Dobrik made modernization kits for the PDK-SC and the PDK-SMR as it finally allowed for the PDK-SC and the PDK-SMR to have foreign Robloxian-made attachments such as sniper scopes, red dot sights, reflex sights, flashlights, foregrips and laser sights.
