The Multiverse is the collection of all parallel realities in existence.
Overview
The multiverse encompasses all alternate universes explored within the franchise. It is comprised of at least five different universes:
- Original Timeline: Watchmen, Watchmen: Who Watches the Watchmen?, Watchmen: Taking Out the Trash, and Watchmen Sourcebook,
- Snyder Timeline: Watchmen (film), Watchmen: The End Is Nigh, and Watchmen: Under the Hood
- DC Timeline: Watchmen, Watchmen: Who Watches the Watchmen?, Watchmen: Taking Out the Trash, Watchmen Sourcebook, Before Watchmen, "The Button", Doomsday Clock, "Dark Nights: Death Metal", Flashpoint Beyond #6, and The New Golden Age #1
- History Altered by Doctor Manhattan as depicted in Before Watchmen: Dr. Manhattan
