Watchmen Official Action Figures were part of the first wave of official action figures designed to promote the film, Watchmen. These eight miniature replicas were detailed to be exact portrayals of the movie's characters.
The first assortment of four were released on January 28, 2009, and the rest were released on February 25, all before the release of the movie. Like the other action figures they were published by DC Direct and were each individually sold for $22.99, though price may vary by source.
Description
The first assortment includes Nite Owl II at 6 3/4 inches, Ozymandias at 6 3/4 inches, Rorschach at 6 1/4 inches, and Silk Spectre II at 6 1/2 inches. The second assortment includes Nite Owl I at 6 3/4 inches, Silk Spectre I at 6 1/2 inches, Doctor Manhattan at 7 inches, and the Comedian at 6 3/4 inches. No official Doctor Manhattan picture was released, but the figure was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2008.
