Warner Bros. Discovery (formerly Kinney National Company, Warner Communications, Time Warner, AOL Time Warner and WarnerMedia) is an American multinational mass media and entertainment company headquartered in New York City, New York, USA. It is currently the third largest conglomerate, next to Comcast and The Walt Disney Company. It was formerly owned by AT&T from 2018 to 2022 as WarnerMedia and eventually merged with Discovery Inc on Friday, April 8, 2022, to formed Warner Bros. Discovery. It is the owner of Warner Bros., DC Comics, HBO and Cinemax. It also owns New Line Cinema, Castle Rock Entertainment, Turner Entertainment, Hanna-Barbera (including pre-1991 Ruby-Spears programs), Cartoon Network Inc., Williams Street Productions, Max, NetherRealm Studios, 60% of Discovery Family Channel and 12.5% of The CW Television Network.
