About me
While I wish for my identity to just be anonymous (I believe like most of users here) if anyone would like to call me in other way, rather than "Millennium", you can simply call me "Alter-ego" (at least until I come up with something better). Why? Because it sounds cool!
To start with: Why Millennium? Well, I think its pretty obvious that I was trying to type "Millennium" but I had a mistake, could happened to anyone, also pretty obvious (if you look at my "Avatar") that it's because of the New perfume and fragrance's of Adrian Veidt
There's not much I can say about myself (at least not that will interest people instead of making them get bored, (after all this is a WATCHMEN site, not a "meet a stranger site") but I can say I'm a "HUGE" fan of Watchmen also "HUGE" Rorschach fan. My Respects to Alan Moore
Me and My "Graphic Novel"
To me the Novel is just a a masterpiece with deep different meanings depending on how you look at it, with new stuff to show every time you start reading it again. It has a spectacular way of throwing you pieces of a puzzle during ten or eleven chapters, and by the eleventh or twelfth chapter, what you saw as just a bunch of pieces start fitting perfectly well.
Movie
I personally dislike the film, for many reasons, its just an attempt of summarizing the Novel which went poorly (in my opinion) they cutted all (or maybe just Lots) of supporting characters, (Specially the Squid :( ) and what I disliked the most is that they even bothered making up more scenes, instead of using that time to put more things of the Novel, and because of those changes they also ended up changing the plot and by means the "Main" meaning of Watchmen. For the record I also didnt like the way they changed Ozymandias' or Nite Owl's suits, and other stuff.
"To be Fair", despite I really don't like it, it was the "First Thing I Ever Saw About Watchmen!". I confess that instead of reading the novel before the film, I read it after. So I actually (in some way) have to thank the movie, because if it wasn't for it, and the fact that I liked it then, I would probably never have met the Watchmen universe, but when I started reading the novel I instantly noticed all the stuff they cut out, the things they made up and the things they "modified" (Dialogs, Scenes, Characters, the way they changed the costumes and the way Alan Moore played with the dialogs of one scenes and the images of another), and started to realize that compared to the Novel the movie gives you "nothing" and is "nothing".
However I have nothing against those who like the film.
My favorite pages
I don't have many favorite pages, and I know that not because we have one thing in common (to like Watchmen) it means we have to like the same stuff, but here are some pages that you might like(liking or not Watchmen), maybe you already know them maybe not, anyways just give'em a try!
