The Toxic Avenger was originally a normal janitor named Melvin Ferd Junko III, but after falling into toxic waste, he become a hideously deformed mutant with superhuman size and strength. Despite having a somewhat grotesque appearance and a lack of social skills, the Toxic Avenger is a hero to the residents of his city and fights against crime and corruption wherever he finds it.
