Law and Order Exhibit
On September 6, 1978, Thomas M. Dewey, special programs curator at the Smithsonian Institution, sent a letter to Laurie Juspeczyk requesting the donation of her Silk Spectre costume for inclusion in the upcoming Law and Order exhibit.
In February 1979, the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. unveiled the exhibit, which spotlighted costumed adventurers from the 1930s through the 1970s — from Hooded Justice to Doctor Manhattan — and featured an array of weapons, props, and memorabilia.[1]
