In March 2009, Calvin Jelani relocated to Vietnam to pursue employment with Pyramid Global Construction. However, his tenure at the company was brief, as he departed just a month later.
Following Calvin's passing due to a heart attack, a transformation occurred – Doctor Manhattan assumed Calvin's identity and initiated a romantic involvement with Angela Abar. The narrative took another turn when Doctor Manhattan acquired a tachyon ring designed to erase his memories and abilities. This pivotal development led to his admission into a medical facility for treatment, a situation ingeniously utilized by Angela to gather comprehensive insights into Jelani's work history and medical records at Pyramid Global Construction.
