History
Judd Crawford played the lead role of Curly McLain in a high school production of Oklahoma!.
On September 2019, an all-black production of the musical Oklahoma! premiered at the Williams Dreamland Theatre. Judd and Jane Crawford attend the show.

- The Watchmen series, set in Tulsa, frequently references the musical in its score and character names, and integrates its themes and plot points in the episodes, including a fully-staged performance of the title song.
