Charlton Home
After violently assaulting two older neighborhood children bullying him about his mother, Sylvia Kovacs, being a prostitute, Walter Kovacs entered the custody of Charlton Home in New Jersey from 1951 to 1956.
Palisades Amusement Park
In July 1959, Jon Osterman took a trip to New Jersey to visit friends from Princeton University, while Janey Slater accompanies him to visit her mother. Her mother doesn't answer the phone so they head to Palisades Amusement Park to kill some time. Thinking they are a couple, a photographer calls them over and takes a souvenir picture. Near the shooting gallery, Janey's watchband breaks, and the watch is damaged when a fat man steps on it.[1]

On November 2nd, 1985, several civilians in Hoboken fell victim to the massive psychic shockwave from within the brain of the giant squid that teleported into New York City across the Hudson River. Wade Tillman traveled there with a group of Jehovah’s Witnesses to evangelize at the state fair, but was one of the few that survived the attack.[3]
