Mikhail Gorbachev is the former leader of the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
Biography
After the attack of the alien monster, Mikhail Gorbachev's name was mentioned in the news, as he suspended hostilities as a sign of solidarity to the United States, and withdrew the Soviet forces from Afghanistan.
Between November and December of 1985, he met with Richard Nixon and a picture of them greeting each other was seen on a newspaper, presumably agreeing to end the Cold War and concentrate on the alien menace, according to Adrian Veidt's plan.[1]
