The Miami Beach Convention Center (originally the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall) is a convention center located in Miami Beach, Florida.
History
In 1964 Eddie Blake and Robert F. Kennedy met there and watched the fight between Cassius Clay and Sonny Liston for boxing's World Heavyweight Championship. Blake announced that he would join the Vietnam War while Kennedy revealed he would run for a senator.
Clay won the match shouting "I shook up the world".[1]
