On December 23, 2009, K. Brackett performed a medical intake examination on "Calvin Jelani" at the request of Angela Abar. Brackett’s examination notes describe symptoms consistent with dissociative fugue, including memory loss, identity disturbance, limited verbal engagement, and impaired recall. He recommended advanced neurological imaging to rule out brain damage or early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, citing family medical history. These recommendations were declined due to the patient’s lack of insurance. Brackett subsequently advised counseling and hypnotherapy as alternative interventions.[1]
