A Teleportation Window (referred to as a CX-924 Teleportation Window[1][2]) is a device manufactured by Veidt Enterprises and used by the Institute for Extraspatial Studies.

Teleportation Windows were manufactured by Veidt Enterprises to replicate Doctor Manhattan's teleportation powers.
Institute for Extraspatial Studies
In 1985, researchers at the Institute for Extraspatial Studies had been working on a Teleportation Window that would open portals to other dimensions with the purpose of extracting energy resources.[3]

Unknown to the scientists and general public, Adrian Veidt used the teleportation device as part of his plan of achieving peace. On November 2nd, 1985, Veidt teleported his alien monster from inside the Institute for Extraspatial Studies, resulting in the deaths of three million people.[2][4][5]

Alternate Timelines
Stolen by the Seventh Kavarly
In an alternate 2019, the white supremacist group, Seventh Kavarly, stole a CX-924 Teleportation Window from Trieu Industries as part of their plan to capture Doctor Manhattan.[2]
Capabilities
Teleportation Windows can transfer matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them. The space between gives off a blue luminescent glow that uses some of the same energy that Doctor Manhattan gives off.
