Honey Dragon (ハニードラゴン) is a species of insect from the same era as the Seven-Color Nessie. Myths and murals from the ancient show these creatures alongside the Seven-Color Nessie, proving just how long this persistent species has existed.
Description
They live in nests resembling giant honeycombs suspended by a stem from the surface, where they produce highly nutritious honey. Other dragons enjoy the sweet taste of this honey so much that they'll eat it until their fangs are full of cavities from all the sugar.
Behavior
Despite their irresistible honey, Honey Dragons are highly defensive of their hives and will attack any intruders who dare to approach. Much like how real-life honeybees use dances to communicate with each other, a single Honey Dragon will take the lead in battle, flying in specific patterns to direct the others on where and how they should fly to attack the intruder. If something disrupts this lead dragon's flight patterns, however, the others become confused and their flight patterns become chaotic.
Powers and Abilities
Honey Dragons are fast fliers who can strike quickly and effortlessly, and can coordinate attacks and move together perfectly by only following their flight leader, however this can also be their greatest weakness for if the leader behaves oddly or is defeated, the rest will become disoriented and confused. They can use their very poisonous stingers like deadly projectiles, firing them like missiles at great speeds, and if one is hit the poison will spread throughout the victim's body and will eventually break down.

Coco sought to use Honey Dragon honey to satisfy Chris the Seven-Color Nessie as part of the Gourmet King Deciding Battle.
