Bitterswell (ホロニ貝 Horonikai) is a seashell made of pure chocolate that can be found in a nectar-like sea of sugar water. Its flavor is considered agonizingly bittersweet just like the taste of first love. The Bitterswell also appears to be the favored food of the Chocolotters.
