Bile (バイル Bairu) is one of the many chefs of the Gourmet Corp. stationed within Gourmet World. He is a large yeti-like being whose aggressive personality matches his equally aggressive appearance.

Appearance

Bile is a large creature with the appearance of a yeti or ape-man, having light-colored fur, dark skin, ape-like features and is seen wearing leopard-skin briefs. Whether his appearance is the result of his Gourmet Cells failing to adapt properly or if he is even human remains unknown.

Personality

He is ruthless and hotheaded and does not hesitate at the chance to fight; however he is also overly arrogant, believing he is capable of fighting Ichiryu. In fact he could not even touch him, let alone move, when facing against him.

Powers and Abilities

He appears to rely on brute force but his full abilities are not shown as he is easily stopped by Ichiryu. The fact that he is stationed in the Gourmet World shows that he is a very powerful fighter.

Chef Skills

Being that he is a Gourmet Corp. chef, his skills are likely very advanced, but it is unknown to what extent.

History

Meteor Garlic Arc

When Ichiryu arrives at Gourmet Corp.'s Gourmet World HQ, Bile and many of the top members are already there to face him in battle. Bile jumps down to Ichiryuu, but his body stops in midair. After Ichiryuu leaves, he is somehow back to where he was standing before. A Gourmet Corp. member asks him how he got back and Bile says it was probably one of Ichiryu's abilities.[1]

Anime and Manga Differences

  • In the manga, Bile attacks Ichiryu first before Kaitora and Kariu do their combo attack. In the anime, this scene is reversed with the combo being performed first and Bile attacking afterwards.
