Acacia's Disciples are three known individuals who, as children, were adopted by the Bishokushin Acacia and his chef partner, the Chef Goddess Froese and because of this, not only would they be become disciples of Acacia himself but they would also become Acacia and Froese's three adoptive children. With their history as the children of Acacia, they would see each other as brothers. They are trained in the profession of Gourmet Hunters and as such, they possess the abilities to hunt different species and plantations in both Gourmet World and Human World.
They would one day become recognized as the World's Strongest People due to their immense strengths as well as their abilities due to Acacia's training. However, being known as the World's Strongest, their familial bond would slowly decay and eventually each individual would walk their own separate paths, with one retiring from the profession of Gourmet Hunter and the two others creating an organization which would clash with one another.
As nameless individuals before Acacia adopts them, Acacia would name them with the position in which they came into his care and a creature. Acacia would name his first son Ichiryu as he is the first to come to his family, naming him after the dragon. The second son would be named Jirou being named after the wolf. And lastly, the third son would become known as Midora, being named after the tiger.
Unique Abilities
Because of their immense strength as individuals, Acacia would train them in the ways of the Gourmet Hunter in order for them to survive the harsh natures of the Gourmet World as well as the Gourmet Age. By training each individual as a group, each of them would develop unique traits which make them stand out as individuals. These traits would later become a form of technique used by each individual.
- Ichiryu - Minority Manipulation: Ichiryu possesses the unique ability to use the minority which goes against the natural flow thereby allowing him to perform unnatural abilities which are otherwise impossible by others such as flight, instant recovery and reverse natural organ flows. This would later become the skill known as Minority World.
- Jirou - Advanced Knocking: Jirou possesses the ability to use highly advanced knocking equipment as well as knocking techniques which would become a struggle for others to use. Unlike most common knocking techniques, Jirou's ability to use knocking is not limited to just creatures and people but even the world itself as he is able to almost stop the whole world's rotation with the use of Grand Knocking.
- Midora - Intuitive Learning : Unlike Ichiryu and Jirou, Midora's unique ability to learn different skills and abilities of an individual in order to better benifit his own. He uses this ability in order to manipulate Ichiryu's Minority World so that it would heal him. He is also capable of camouflaging himself so perfectly that it is almost as if he is completely invisible, even non-existent, allowing him to slip through any and every area without being seen nor detected within the area he is present in as if he is a natural part of it. This ability is due to his advanced Mirror Neurons.

Organizations
Because of their superior strength being as being World's Strongest, two of the three disciples would raise an organization using their high reputation. Due to the conflict which occurred after the death of Froese, the orignization which two of the disciples have built up would eventually clash against one another due to the differing philosophies between the two brothers.
- Ichiryu would build what is known as the International Gourmet Organization, better known as IGO, which would become the building ground of the modern day Gourmet Age. Ichiryu built the organization with the intent of maintaining order within the Human World and the supply of ingredients. Ichiryu originally founded the IGO as a special department for the United Nations however as demands for ingredients increase, IGO would eventually build its own foundation as an independent organization.
- Midora would raise the Gourmet Corp. A criminal based organization which would use any forms of method in order attain control over all ingredients in the whole world. Acting as the opposition of the IGO, the Gourmet Corp. would destroy order if need be in order to attain the ingredients which they wish to obtain, reflecting on the very nature of Midora himself, who's desire is to eat and control all of the ingredients in the world. Because of this, the Gourmet Corp. and the IGO continue to be in constant conflict.
Jiro, the only disciple to not form any sort of organization, stood as a neutral person between Ichiryu and Midora's organization, not creating any form of hostilities with either side, however due to the events which would create havoc in the Human World, he would decide that eventually he would need to side with Ichiryu's organization, the IGO, to face Midora and the Gourmet Corp. to prevent future disaster from happening.
Trivia
- Much like Acacia, Ichiryu would adopt four young orphans, raising them as his own as well as training them in the ways of the Gourmet Hunter, Ichiryu's adoptive children would be known as the Four Heavenly Kings and would later carry out the legacy of their adoptive father much like how Acacia's Disciples carried out Acacia's legacy.
- Much like how the Heavenly Kings possess advanced senses unique to their own, Acacia's disciples possess unique abilities unique to their own.
- Its interesting to note that Toriko actually possesses Midora's unique trait of Intuitive Learning as both Midora and Toriko are capable of perfectly replicating someone else's abilty, Jirou states that Midora used Ichiryu's ability in order to make Food Immersion Cape a fertile ground despite being dried up.
