Travis Powers

Travis Francis Powers is a sound designer/supervising sound effects editor and composer who has worked on several animated television series, including The SimpsonsFuturamaThe CriticThe Tracey Ullman Show, and the first season of King of the Hill. Powers has received multiple awards, including a Golden Reel Award, in 1998 for "Best Sound Editing" for the episode "Treehouse of Horror VIII".

Powers works mainly in his home, under the name "Travis Powers Sound Design." He is best known for his work on The Simpsons, a series that he had worked on since its beginnings on The Tracey Ullman Show.

He usually will create some of his own sound effects, along with using some from Todd-AO and Skywalker Sound (where The Simpsons used to have its' post-production audio work done), and using the following libraries...
